The Fixit Rubber Family:
Back in 1980 we bought our first project car a 1939 Ford Deluxe 2 Door sedan. Having a body shop background we completed that project in short order. We drove that car from Oklahoma to the boardwalk covering nearly every state in between . Our second project was a 1948 Chevrolet coupe in wild orchid purple . After the body work and painting was completed we began looking for weatherstripping to complete our street rod. The selection in our area was so limited that we decided to become a dealer in rubber parts and weatherstripping ourselves.
After checking out several sources we found the best selection and quality in Metro Moulded Rubber products. We have been carrying Metro's full line ever since. As our business grew we found that we offer many of the products a history that others do not. We will go out of our way to find you what you need, even if that means we need to bring on new suppliers or sources. Many of our customers have been asking for web sales and information. In an effort to supply our customers the most information possible we are excited to announce the creation of Fixit Rubber Online.com.
As a family based business we build and buy collector vehicles, therefore we have a wide range of knowledge and understanding of your weatherproofing needs. Our current acquisitions include a 1957 Buick and a 1938 Pontiac. Jeremy is in the process of completing his second 1958 Oldsmobile. He also owns a 1967 Cadillac S&S hearse, and a 71 International Pick-up/dump bed.
We can be found at most major Wisconsin shows and will be happy to work with you on different and rare projects, using our unique matching service. We continue adding quality sources to our inventory and stand behind everything we sell. Many of our part even include a conditional 15 year warranty against manufacturing defects and improper fits.
